Single-pane safety glass (SPSG):
Single-pane safety glass consists of a single, special thermal-treated pane. Due to this “pre-tension” this type of glass features an increased impact and bending resistance as well as thermal shock resistance compared with conventional flat glass.
Compound safety glass (CSG):
Compound safety glass is a compound glass or a multi-layer glass, respectively, consisting of two or more glass panes and one or more interlayers or tearproof polyvinyl butyral foil (PVB) or polycarbonate foil (PC). Depending on the requirements, compound safety glass can be combined with float glass, single-pane safety glass or partially pre-tensioned glass. Our bullet-resistant compound safety glass or bulletproof glass has been tested by the “Staatliches Beschussamt München” (National Firing Proof House Munich) and the “Staatliches Beschussamt Ulm” (National Firing Proof House Ulm) complying with EN 1063 standards and thus meets the highest of safety requirements. We are certified for firing proof classes BR2 to BR7 as well as STANAG 1 to 3.
